In the newest Dickens film on our YouTube channel, Dr. Jeremy Parrott (Honorary Research Fellow, University of Buckingham) describes his process of establishing the authorship and writing the biographies of formerly unknown or obscure contributors to Charles Dickens's periodical All the Year Round. After famously buying a set of the periodical in 2015, only to discover that it contained the names of most of the original writers, Parrott has been able to quadruple scholars' knowledge ever since concerning the ATYR writers. His book on the subject is forthcoming from Yale University Press (Spring 2019).
