The Cricket
The Dickens Society blog The Cricket is currently seeking submissions from scholars & enthusiasts studying any aspect of the 19th century in connection with Charles Dickens.
Posts should be between 800-1,000 words.
Formatting rules mirror those of our academic journal, The Dickens Quarterly (“Contributor Guidelines: Articles”).
Remember to write for a mainstream audience and avoid excessive use of academic jargon.
Internet readers appreciate graphics, so be sure to choose and cite public domain or free-use images.
We welcome book review requests, which are written by our staff writer, Mads Golding.
